The
Northwest Environmental Education Council has taken on the convening role
for Seattle's Environmental Portal.
While The Alliance for Education is still closely involved, NWEEC will now
serve as the primary contact for the Environmental Portal.

Convening of the Environmental Portal
September 8th, 2005
Please join members of the educational and environmental communities for the
Environmental Portal's kickoff event of the 2005-2006 school year! It's going
to be fun!
We're making known our collective efforts and inspiring the vision of community-supported schools. We'll share and explore different methods of extending our knowledge in ways that are meaningful to students.
There will be opportunities for networking, making connections and fostering the partnerships that can enhance our collective work. At this meeting, members of the Advisory Council will present Portal's work goals for the school year and unveil the "beta" version of the Portal's new web site.
Our gathering will be from 3:00-5:00 pm on September the 8th, at the offices of the Northwest Environmental Education Council. (Save the date down now, before your inbox eats this message!)
Don't miss this opportunity to meet the community, learn what others are doing, foster the partnerships that can empower your work and remember why you do the work you do. Best of all, contribute in your own way to shaping the lives and experiences of the citizens of the future.
