Through cutting-edge scientific research and German Engineering, Cedar Grove Composting is breaking ground for composting companies world-wide. Learn first-hand how this innovative technology works, and discover the science behind the soil!

Join NWEEC and horticulturalist Katie Bach as we find out how microorganisms convert proteins into carbon, why temperature means everything, and how a plastic spoon can turn into organic matter in 80 days. You'll never look at soil the same way again.

A professional guide to explain the technology and science behind Cedar Grove Composting

**For those traveling with us from Seattle, we will meet at the Council headquarters (directions) in Georgetown at 10:00 A.M. We will begin the tour in Everett at 10:45 and head back to Seattle by 12:15 P.M.
