Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels hosted a press conference at EOS Alliance headquarters on Wednesday June 24, 2009. The Mayor announced Seattle's summer youth training programs highlighting EOS Alliances role in providing green summer jobs for twenty Seattle youth. Green Blocks Pilot Project Launched to Conserve Energy and Resources

EOS Alliance is recruiting Seattle homes for a conservation pilot project. Participating homes will receive a free comprehensive home performance assessment that includes a professional energy audit and a survey of major appliance, water fixture, storm water, and landscape efficiency. Chicken Coop Building Workshop - A modern barn raising!

EOS Alliance hosted an urban chicken coop construction workshop in Seattle. Twelve participants worked together to install a custom chicken coop to house three chickens at a West Seattle home. Future workshops include Cheese Making 101 and the Sustainable Farm Tour of 21 Acre Farms.
